Seminary Staff
The staff of the seminary is comprised of the following;
The Rector, presently Monsignor Anthony Randazzo, oversees the formation program of the ordinand student from entry into the seminary to ordination to the priesthood.
The Spiritual Director, presently Father Gerard Kalinowski, oversees the spirituality program and the day-to-day spiritual activities of the students.

Father Gerard Kalinowski
The Spiritual Director of Holy Spirit Seminary of Queensland is Father Gerard Kalinowski. A diocesan priest ordained for the Archdiocese of Brisbane in 1981, he has developed valuable pastoral experience in various parishes. At the beginning of 1996 he was appointed by the Bishops of Queensland as Spiritual Director of the Seminary. In June 1998 he was awarded a Certificate of Studies in Spirituality from The Institute for Spiritual Leadership, Chicago. In 1999 he was awarded a Masters of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University, Chicago. From mid 2003 to mid 2004 he had a sabbatical year as a Spiritual Director and educator at St Luke’s Institute, Silver Spring, Maryland USA.
Father Gerard’s ministry is in Spiritual Direction, in particular companioning men discerning their call to ordained ministry and leading Spirituality Classes exploring the richness of the Catholic Church’s spiritual treasures. An essential element of his work is the development of psycho-sexual integration in the lives of seminarians. This involves the areas of celibate chastity, intimacy and relationships.
